First Data needed a high level but down to earth way to entertain a small group of their clients and raise significant funds for their chosen charity, the British Heart Foundation.

Our ‘charity friendly’ approach maximised our client’s budget while still delivering a must-attend event. Insightful lateral thinking enabled us to combine fun with vital health issues that fully reflected the BHF message.

  • probably the world’s first ‘Good for the Heart’ wine tasting
  • securing the open balcony ‘attic room’ at The Luxe gave this small group privacy and a chance to enjoy the restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere
  • a specially created menu packed with indulgent yet healthy choices – ending with sumptuous dark chocolate truffles crammed with beneficial antioxidants
  • Wii sports to get the heart racing on arrival and a silent auction with prizes donated by our suppliers

A truly original approach and an unfaltering desire to maximise fundraising had a remarkable effect. Guests at this memorable evening learned about fine wine, heart health issues and the joy of laughter, which led to a phenomenal amount of money being raised. It also cemented a strong and enduring relationship between First Data and their guests.
