Britannia
Brief
Lynda and Ronan wanted to celebrate the best
of London, especially for the Irish groom’s family and
guests. But they also wanted a contemporary, relaxed feel
with a focus on flowers, as Lynda ran a flower design school.

As it was winter we arranged classic
Routemaster buses to escort guests from the old Covent Garden
church to the reception at Dartmouth House, one of the capital’s
most sought after venues.
In a break with tradition, informal speeches were made on
the sweeping marble staircase before dinner, leaving guests
and speakers free to enjoy the rest of the day.
We chose an unusual, subtle eau de nil colour scheme. This
ran through the invitations, menus and the white, cream and
pale green flowers in globe mirror vases on each table to
match the venue’s stunning ‘wedgwood’ eau
de nil and white cornicing.

Thanks to our negotiating skills we saved
Lynda and Ronan over 15% on their wedding costs which they are
now putting to good use on their honeymoon.
